Terms of Service

1. About COQUUS

COQUUS operates an online marketplace that connects customers with independent private chefs. COQUUS does not employ chefs and does not itself provide cooking, catering, or food services. All services are provided by independent chefs.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
• Notify COQUUS immediately of any unauthorised use

COQUUS may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Bookings

Bookings are made through the Platform and are subject to chef availability and acceptance. Unless otherwise specified:

• Minimum booking duration is 2 hours
• Bookings must be made at least 2 hours in advance
• All bookings are subject to our Cancellation Policy

5. Payments

Payments are processed through the Platform using third-party payment providers.

• Customers are charged at the time of booking confirmation
• COQUUS collects payment on behalf of chefs and deducts applicable fees
• Chefs receive their payout after successful completion of the service
• A platform service fee is added to each booking

6. User Conduct

Users agree to:

• Behave respectfully toward other users and chefs
• Not engage in fraud, harassment, or illegal activity
• Not attempt to circumvent the Platform to arrange off-platform bookings
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

COQUUS may remove users who violate these standards.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including logos, text, images, and software, is owned by or licensed to COQUUS. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

8. Liability

COQUUS maintains comprehensive business liability insurance, including business liability and product liability coverage. The insurance provides protection in the event of covered claims involving personal injury, property damage, and product-related liability arising in connection with COQUUS' insured activities. If a covered claim occurs, our insurer handles the assessment of liability, negotiations, legal defence where applicable, and covered compensation.

9. Modifications

COQUUS may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes. Continued use of the Platform after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts.
